HyderabadA private contractor working for HMWSSB has updated his Facebook status, threatening he will end his life because of harassment and corruption on the part of the board’s senior officials. V. Ravi Kumar, a native of Machalipatnam, had taken up the work for the board at Division 12 in Chintal area a year ago. He claimed that the board owed him Rs 16 lakh, but officials were not clearing his bills for the last five months.

Once he returns to work, the bills would be sanctioned,” said board deputy GM for Division 12, G Ranga Rao. Ravi Kumar claimed that he had taken up the repair work on the request of an officer, who was later transferred.
