Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan launched ‘Bigg Boss’ season 9 at a special press conference on Monday. At the event, the actor, who will host the show said that fellow actor and friend Shah Rukh Khan is always welcomed to come on over to promote his film ‘Dilwale’.

"I don't think he will go inside (the house). I would love him to come on the show. If he has dates he is more than welcome to come on the show and meet the contestants. I am saying it this way because I don't want it to get carried away in a different way,"
Salman told reporters at the press conference.

"He should come... Promote (his film), have fun, share his life experiences... He has lots of experiences to share," he added.

Shah Rukh's ‘Dilwale’ will be releasing on December 18 and around that time ‘Bigg Boss’ would be on air. In the past years, several actors have gone on the show to promote their films.

After years of the infamous cold war between the two, Shah Rukh and Salman have rekindled their friendship and have been all praise for each other ever since.

Interestingly, Salman and SRK would clash at the box office in 2016, with their films ‘Sultan’ and ‘Raees’ respectively.

Superstar Salman Khan chose not to talk much and settled down at "jazbaati sawaal" when a scribe questioned whether Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would be invited in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house to promote her upcoming film.

There have been reports that Salu’s ex-girlfriend Aishwarya would come on the reality show to promote her  thriller ‘Jazbaa’.

When asked about the same, Salman said, "This had to be the last question before the PR takes away the mic. Please clap for this madam. Jazbaati sawal... Kar diya (Emotional question was asked)."

Salman, 49, who was addressing the press conference of ‘Bigg Boss 9’, later also sang a song "Aate Jaate Jo Milta Hai Tumsa Lagta Hai..."
