Veteran back in front of camera after six-year break from the movies, for just three minutes!
Chiranjeevi has started shooting for his role in Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee The Fighter. Director Sreenu Vaitla announced it on Twitter on Monday. He wrote, The day has finally come ..truly honored to be shooting with #Megastar-Chiranjeevi Garu in sometime. Thank you and ever grateful sir for making it so memorable.
Ram Charan too announced on social media about Chiranjeevi’s action sequence in Bruce Lee. He wrote Dad’s action sequence in #BruceLeeTheFighter is just a teaser for #chiru150 #WelcomeBackMegastar #Oct16. Sources however added that the star’s screentime in the movie lasts just three minutes.
Meanwhile, why Puri’s script was rejected
It’s a known fact that Puri Jagannadh was supposed to direct Chiranjeevi’s landmark 150th flick. But the actor had later revealed that he didn’t like the narrative of the second half, which put Puri out of the running.
“When I had narrated the first half he was excited. But later, I read in the media that he did not like the second half. Instead of announcing it in the media, he should’ve told me directly,” a stunned Puri said.
But Puri also added that he is still interested in directing the Megastar.
