Parvathy, who was last seen in Uttama Villain in K’town, is excited about the success of her recently released Mollywood film Ennu Ninte Moidheen. However, the actress says she hardly has time to celebrate because she has three other films in her kitty — the untitled Tamil remake of Bangalore Days, the women-centric Tamil film Sivaranjaniyum Innum Sila Pengalum and Malayalam film Charlie, opposite Dulquer Salmaan again.
Interestingly, Parvathy, who is known to cherry-pick roles, will reprise her own role in the Bangalore Days remake. She reasons, “Initially, when the production contacted me, I refused. Then I met the director, Bhaskar, who said he couldn’t see anyone else as Sarah. Later, I thought it was a good opportunity to test myself and my role was perhaps the safest character to experiment with because I had it pretty much figured out. I wanted to see how I can play a character differently in a culturally different milieu.”
Meanwhile, Sivaranjaniyum Innum Sila Pengalum to be helmed by Vasanth, is expected to go on the floors soon. The film which dwells on the lives of three women, has Pooja Kumar and Padmapriya too essaying pivotal roles.
