Couple from Tirunelveli goes missing in Mecca
The couple however did not return and neither their relatives at Tenkasi

Tirunelveli: Relatives of Haj pilgrims—a couple, found missing at Mina in Mecca wanted the government to intervene to find the whereabouts of the couple.
Jamal Muhammed of Tenkasi in Tirunelveli district on Tuesday filed a petition to the Tenkasi revenue divisional officer (RDO), Venkatesh stating that his niece, Thameem Fathima (32) living with her husband, Muhaideen Muhammed Fareez (44) and two children—Salman (11) and Abdul Rahman (8) Alzeenfal in Saudi Arabia was on a haj pilgrimage to Mecca. The couple, leaving their two children with one of their friends family and went to stone the satan at Mina on the 24th of this month, when around 800 people were killed on stampede.
The couple however did not return and neither their relatives at Tenkasi nor the organisation arranged for their pilgrimage to Mecca was said to have received any information about them. Their relatives in Tenkasi, however received information that the two children are in the safe custody of the organisation that arranged the pilgrim of the couple.
The Tenkasi RDO receiving the petition from Jamal Muhammed assured his to forward it to the state government for necessary action.
