Two-lane roads from guesthouse to Vijayawada city

HyderabadAfter Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s comments on the road from his residence-cum-camp office to Vijayawada city, the officials have started the work on laying two-lane roads at cost of about Rs 40 crore. The Chief Minister’s residence-cum-camp office is located at Lingamaneni guesthouse on the banks of river Krishna. 
 
But this house has no proper connective roads to Vijayawada city. 
Meanwhile, the officials are also arranging a helipad at the Chief Minister’s residence. The Chief Minister can go by helicopter directly from his residence to anywhere in the state. By this there will be no traffic problem to the people the officials said. 
Every day, the Chief Minister is travelling about 10 kilometres to reach his Vijayawada camp office from this residence. 
 
The distance between his residence and Vijayawada city boarder will be about 5 kilometres. These 5 kilometres has no proper road and in a review meeting on Vijayawada city, the Chief Minister commented that people think that it is a shame to the government to see that there is no proper road to even Chief Minister’s residence. 
 
The Chief Minister asked the officials to lay roads in Vijayawada city at the cost of about Rs 90 crore. From this, the officials are spending about Rs 40 crore on connective roads from the Chief Minister’s residence to Vijayawada city. Here, the officials are laying two-way roads.
