Have not seen grandson for days, says Chandrababu Naidu
I have to sacrifice my time with my family and work for the people, says Naidu
Vijayawada: TD president and AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said party activists would understand, like his family does, if he does not have time for them.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Mr Naidu said, “Though so-me selfish leaders ditched the party, the workers have enormous confidence in me. They can understand if I am unable to reach out to them. There are situations when children at home react when I don’t spend time. My family also understands this.”
Mr Naidu, added, “I cannot spend time with my grandson. When I carry a responsibility, I have to sacrifice my time with my family and work for the people. If I can work better, the people of AP will benefit.”
Answering questions, Mr Naidu said, “My party is my first family, party workers have done a lot for me. But with more work in government, I am unable to concentrate on party affairs.”
Asked about the list of his family’s assets relea-sed by Mr Nara Lokesh recently, Mr Naidu said he had given all his property to his family.
“I have no interest in money and assets. I don't even wear a wrist watch or a ring. I don't keep any money in my pocket,” he said.
