Salman Khan copies SRK’s style

A poster of Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, showing the superstar from the back, with his arms spread wide, reminds us of someone else — his B’town nemesis Shah Rukh Khan. Salman seems to have copied SRK’s signature pose, with the only difference being that it’s shot from behind.

Meanwhile Sonam Kapoor, who plays the female lead, says. “By the way, he is the first one to give this pose.” Salman adds, “I just spread my hands and posed. They took me from behind.” Realising the double meaning of what he just said, he quickly adds, “I mean the photo.”

One remembers Shah Rukh Khan saying when asked about the pose: “I am not a good dancer…and so in my first film, when I could not execute the steps, the choreographer asked me to just spread my hands… and since then this has become my signature style.”
