Meenakshi’s tryst with action sequences
She has pulled off few stunt sequences in her upcoming film Naer Mugam

Meenakshi who made a promising entry in K’town a few years back, later vanished from the scene after a few movies for reasons best known to her. It was reported that she had demanded huge remuneration. Looks like the Mumbai girl is back with a vengeance and has signed four films in a row including Naer Mugam, which is directed by Murali Krishna, who introduced the likes of Simran’s sister Monal into films.
Talking about the movie, Meenakshi says, “It is a thriller and Rafee is the male lead. It’s about seven couples who go on a trip to a dense forest in Kerala and never come back. I have a significant role and have tried a few action sequences as well.” The pretty actress hopes that this film would give her the necessary break.
Though the thriller is an out-and-out commercial flick, there’s also a message in it, claims the director. Murali’s films are talked about for their songs. Like his earlier films, he is penning the lyrics and composing music in Naer Mugam.
