Apple Music free trials have expired, here’s how you can unsubscribe
The free trial for Apple music expired on September 30, 2015
At the Worldwide Developers’ Conference in June 2015, Apple had unveiled a subscription streaming music service, which was made available to users of iPhones, iPads, iPod touch, Mac, and PC starting June 30. The music streaming service was made available for free for the first three months as a trial membership, and the three months of trial ended on September 30th. Consequentially, Apple has started to charge subscribers for the plan they opted for (either the $9.99 a month or $14.99 a month).
For users who do not wish to continue with the service, this is how you can cancel your Apple Music membership.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
- In the Music app, tap your profile icon in the upper-left corner.
- Tap View Apple ID.
- Under Subscriptions, tap Manage. If you have more than one subscription, tap Your Membership (Apple Music Membership) to see your membership options.
- Under Renewal Options, turn off Automatic Renewal. Confirm your selection, then tap Done.
- Tap Done to return to your Account screen, and then tap Done to return to the app.
On your Mac or PC:
- Open iTunes.
- Click Sign In and enter your Apple ID.
- Click your name, and select Account Info from the menu.
- Enter your password again.
On the Account Information screen:
- Scroll to the Settings section.
