Off the beaten track
The recent audio and trailer launch of the film at a hotel attracted quite a crowd because of a unique exhibition
Whatever director Anil Radhakrishnan Menon does, rest assured it will always be off the beaten track. His films have shown his penchant for experimentation and his upcoming fantasy film Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi has a lot of novelties associated which are a first, as far as Mollywood goes. The makers claim that this is the first Malayalam film to be shot 6700 feet above sea level and has been shot extensively for seventy days in the forests of Kerala. The film also boasts of the biggest set ever created in the history of Malayalam cinema and has on board 3 National awardees. The recent audio and trailer launch of the film at a hotel attracted quite a crowd because of a unique exhibition.
On display were costumes, implements, jewellery and bows and arrows and other weapons used in the shoot of the film. This is the first time that such an extensive range of props used for a film’s shoot was displayed at a venue. Anil also sprung a surprise when he showed the making of the huge set on a huge LED screen to all those present. The crowd found it hard to believe that what they were seeing on screen was actually make believe and not real structures. The launch was attended by actors like Kunchacko Boban, Reenu Mathews, Jacob Gregory, Bharath, Sudheer Karamana and Chemban Vinod among others and the film is produced by Global United Media.
