Biopic on Rani Laxmibai starring Kangana Ranaut put on hold

Mumbai: While Kangana begins working on her next ‘Rangoon’ rumour has it that one of her upcoming films will not take off as planned. According to media reports, Ketan Mehta’s biopic on Rani Laxmibai starring the actress has been postponed.

The director was very keen on making the film after the grand success of his previous outings including Mangal Pandey, and Dashrath Manjhi , however he won’t be able to take forward his dream due to budget issues.

The project will now most likely be pushed forward to next year.
