Furious MS Dhoni storms out of net practice
DJ, who was playing loud music, cut short Dhoni's practice session
Cuttack: Mahendra Singh Dhoni earned nickname ‘Captain Cool’ after successfully leading Indian cricket side, without losing his calm and composure, to some of the memorable victories home and overseas.
Be it the World Cup triumph in 2011; be it Champions Trophy win in 2013 in England or be it leading a young and largely inexperienced side to World T20 victory in 2007 in South Africa.
What also remains special about Dhoni is his ability to be steadfast in times crisis.
However, India’s ODI and T20 skipper lost his cool and stormed out of team’s practice ahead of a T20 game against South Africa at Barabati Stadium.

According to a report in ‘The Indian Express’ when Dhoni turned up for net practice in Cuttack on Sunday, DJ, who was present at the venue, turned up the volume. Not impressed with this, Dhoni, sent across a message asking to switch off the music. However, the DJ got it all wrong and did not do what Dhoni requested. The Indian skipper then left the nets in no time.

A team official, as quoted in the report, though played down the incident, saying, “It’s a minor thing. The DJ was testing his speakers. Maybe he failed to understand the communication but he had eventually stopped. The team is not filing any complaint to the Orissa Cricket Association (OCA)."
The report also quoted OCA president Ranjib Biswal, who said, “Cricket has always been a big craze in this part of the world, formats notwithstanding. So this is expected.”
