Hyderabad: The IMD has predicted heavy rain at isolated places in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, while the southwest monsoon is active over Rayalaseema in its withdrawal phase. For the next 24 hours in Telangana state, the heavy rainfall warning has been put out for Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy apart from Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda and Mahbubnagar districts. In the last 24 hours, Nalgonda in Telangana recorded the maximum rainfall of 6 cm followed by Madnur mandal of Nizamabad district at 4 cm rain.
In AP, Agali and Rolla mandals of Anantapur district recorded 7 cm, followed by Pullampet mandal of Kadapa district at 6 cm. The maximum temperatures fell at a few places over Telangana. The lowest minimum temperature of 20ºC was recorded at Adilabad on Sunday.
