Cops rape woman constable in Uttar Pradesh
The survivor registered a complaint on the emergency number
Lucknow: A woman constable has allegedly been raped by three persons including two constables in Jhansi district.
The victim has alleged in her complaint that she, along with another woman colleague, had come to Jhansi as part of extra force to be deployed at an exhibition in Mauranipur, a small township in the district.
She and her colleague were returning to Jhansi on the night of September 28 when they were lured by two constables and a driver in a car who offered to give them a lift.
Both of them got into the car, but the driver took them to a desolated place where all the three accused took turns to rape her while her colleague remained seated in the car.
While one of the accused constables, named in the FIR as Ajay Yadav, is posted at Jhansi Kotwali, the other, Raja Bhaiyya, is posted at Aurraiyya. The driver remains unidentified. The three accused later dropped both the women at Jhansi from where they returned to Etawah.
The survivor later registered a complaint on the emergency number.
