All actors should rehearse and go through the script before the shooting commences, which not only brings out a better product, but also helps the producer complete the film in less number of days,” remarked Kamal Haasan at the trailer launch of his upcoming movie Thoongavanam. He added, “The film is a bilingual — Tamil and in Telugu as Cheekatti Rajyam. Many scenes had to be performed twice. It was like we were doing two films simultaneously but we completed in 60 days. It was possible because my entire team rehearsed and read the script beforehand.”

Kamal who is an atheist in real life seemed to have enjoyed, when his fans at the venue called him ‘Pagutharivu Pagalavan’ (rationalist sun). He said, “Pagutharivu Pagalavan seems better than calling me Aandavaa (God). I insist my fans not to call me  Aandavaa.”

Trisha, who is romancing Kamal for the second time after Manmadhan Ambu, said, “Thanks to Kamal sir for letting me act with him again. He is one of the best human beings I have ever met. If I have a personal problem, he is the first person I consult.”
