YSRC chief explained the benefits of special status
Guntur: YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched his indefinite fast seeking special category status for AP, in Guntur on Wednesday.
Speaking to the huge crowd that had gathered there, the YSRC chief explained the benefits of special status. He said youth would get employment with industrialisation. He said under special status, 90 per cent of loans and funds would be treated as grants and only 10 per cent would be loans. Without special status, the grant component would be only 30 per cent.
Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy reached the venue four hours late, at 2.30 pm, after he missed a flight. offered specials pujas at the Kanakadurga temple at Vijayawada seeking success of the deeksha and announcement of special status by the Centre.
