Hyderabad: The petition filed by a senior woman faculty member of the Administrative Staff College of India, regarding the committee to probe her sexual harassment complaint against ASCI director-general Ravi Kant, is expected to come up for hearing in the Hyderabad high court on Thursday.

In her plea, she has alleged that the committee set up by ASCI to probe into her complaint has been formed in violation of the Vishaka guidelines issued by the Supreme Court.

The hearing is set a day before the crucial meeting of Administrative Staff College’s Court of Governors where the members are expected to deliberate on the particular issue.

Meanwhile, sources in the National Commission for Women said that a complaint from the victim had been received and was forwarded to the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

It is also learnt that Governor E.S.L. Narsimhan had spoken to the chairman of the Court of Governors S.M. Datta regarding the issue.
