1,240 traffic cases disposed of at Lok Adalat

Hyderabad: Around 1,240 traffic cases were disposed of at a mega Lok Adalat at the Erramanzil court on Saturday. The mega Lok Adalat conducted by the Metropolitan Legal Services Authority and the police was attended by almost 1,200 people.

The police collected Rs 9,11,025 as penalty. Gopalpuram taffic police disposed of 121 cases, the highest in the north zone, and Goshamahal traffic police station disposed of 81 cases which is the highest in south zone.

In all, 762 cases in north zone and 478 cases in the south zone were disposed of with Bahadhurpura traffic police station in the south disposing of 15 cases.
