8 Nigerians held for fraud

Hyderabad: Eight Nigerians who were involved in online matrimonial frauds were nabbed by the Cyberabad police from New Delhi on Thursday. Police found they had cheated nearly 60 persons across India.
During a raid on a flat in New Delhi, the cops found Nigerian John Shihuji and seized 10.6 kg drugs from him. The police also apprehended 13 of his friends. Eight of them were involved in online matrimonial frauds.
“In their laptops we found messages posted by victims on matrimonial profiles,” said inspector Riyazuddin.
The arrested were identified as Amara Chukwa Ernest Izuagba, Sebastian Ifechukwu, Martin Onyedikachi, Chibuzor Amawchi Julius, Chinedu Patrick Akwou, Promise Soupuruchi Igwe, Aelenaver Olabanji Olaniyi and Collins.
