Man found dead in West Marredpally

Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified person was found near Pushpagiri eye hospital near the GHMC Park in West Marredpally area late on Friday night.

The man’s head was found crushed with boulders, police said, adding he was aged around 35 years. Passersby who noticed the body called Dial 100 at around 12.30am.

“The killers might have hit on the man’s head with a boulder. His head was crushed and there were injuries on the chest,” said Marredpally SI Aravind.

Police pressed the dog squad into work and is verifying CCTV footages from the cameras in the area. A case of murder under section 302 was registered and the body sent for postmortem.
