In this film, Priyanka Chopra plays Ranveer's first wife Kashibai whereas Deepika will essay the role of the Peshwa's second wife, Mastani.

Sanjay who has also delivered movies which are laced with modern day drama, doesn’t disappoint with this epic film with battle sequences to rev up the drama. In this magnificently mounted and thrilling film, we believe no one other than Ranveer, Deepika and Priyanka would have been able to pull off these roles effortlessly.
