IPS moves against Vigilance

Lucknow: Suspended IPS officer Amitabh Thakur has now filed a complaint against Vigilance director Bhanu Pratap Singh, superintendent of police, vigilance, G.S. Kanaujia, and other vigilance officers accusing them of creating a false document during an inquiry to build a case of disproportionate assets against him.
Mr Thakur has said the vigilance establishment deliberately calculated the worth of his assets at '2.16 crore while only one listed property belongs to him.
