Bengaluru: Nigerian national arrested

Bengaluru: A Nigerian national was arrested by Hennur police on charges of house break theft and ransacking a supermarket on Monday evening.

Joshua Diribee, 19, had moved to the city from Nigeria a few years ago. He was staying in Hennur and told the police that he was unable to fly back as his passport was lost.

Joshua, who was drunk, broke open the door of Magic Cart Supermarket in Horamavu and made away with valuables worth a few lakhs.

The police arrested him within 48 hours. The incident reportedly occurred on Saturday.
