Goon Priyan denies he was hired to kill Swami Saswathikananda
Priyan said he had never met Biju Ramesh or any of his emissaries
KOCHI: Priyan, the hireling suspected to be involved in the killing of Swami Saswathikananda, has denied the reports in this regard and said he had no connection with the incident.
In a signed statement issued on Tuesday in Kochi, he said that his name has been dragged into the incident by persons with political motives.
“The allegations levelled by Biju Ramesh are totally baseless,” he said. Disputing the claims made by Biju Ramesh, Priyan said he had never met Biju Ramesh or any of his emissaries.
The police team had questioned him in connection with the case in the past and he had expressed his willingness to cooperate with the police in case of a fresh investigation.
Priyan lamented that he has been forced to switch off his phone to avoid the questions from mediapersons in the past few days.
“I am totally innocent in the case and my name should not be dragged into the case. I should be allowed to live peacefully and in a decent manner,” he said.
Biju Ramesh had alleged that Priyan was hired by Mr Vellappally Natesan as the hit man for killing Swami Saswathikananda.
