Telangana: Two held for murder
A dispute arose between Ali and Ibrahim when Ali did not return the buggy
Hyderabad: A fight between two childhood friends over a horse buggy has led to murder. Police arrested two Inter students for the murder.
The deceased Ali Afari and one of the injured Saadi were childhood friends. Their friend Ibrahim owned a horse buggy which Ali borrowed for use during Bakrid.
A dispute arose between Ali and Ibrahim when Ali did not return the buggy. Ibrahim took the buggy from Ali’s home on October 1.
Ali and his friend Abubakar brought back the buggy to his home. Ali asked Ibrahim to meet him at night and during the meet Ibrahim attacked Ali with a knife. Ali died in hospital and Ibrahim surrendered.
Saadi threw stones at Ibrahim and when he was injured Saadi snatched the knife and attacked Ibrahim. But he was overpowered by Manzoor. Manzoor fled when Ali tried to attack him," said south zone DCP Satyanarayana.
On seeing the public gathering Ibrahim threw the knife and fled from the spot. Ali who was admitted to hospital died.
On Monday, Ibrahim and Manzoor surrendered before police. They were were arrested and produced before court.
