Two more identify Attingal murderer

Another witness Adarsh also gave a statement regarding the crime before the court

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two more witnesses in the Attingal twin murder case identified the accused Nino Mathew during the trial in the case at the principal sessions co-urt here on Tuesday.

While Jayachith of Alamcode stated befo-re the court that he had seen Nino Mathew walking towards the house where the murders occurred on the day of the crime, another witness Ashokan stated that he had heard a loud wail and Nino Mathew running away. Another witness Adarsh also gave a statement regarding the crime before the court.

The prosecution case is that Nino, who was working in a Technopark firm, was in love with his colleague Anushanthi and he murdered Anushanthi’s mother-in-law Omana and daughter Swasthika and attempted to murder Anushanthi’s husband Lijeesh on April 16, 2014 with the int-ention of living together with Anushanthi, who is arraigned as the second-accused.
