It’s hard to understand why India, which is the second largest smartphone market in the world, does not have an official Apple store till now. It’s been forever that the Apple fans in India have been cribbing about the same, as the absence of the official stores sometimes leads to the delay in arrival of the iPhones and other Apple products. Although there are Apple dealers in India, and stores dedicated only to Apple devices, there is nothing corresponding to the official Apple Store in the country, yet.

According to a report by Economic Times, Apple is planning to open an Apple store in India by next month. This will be done in partnership with the Croma retail stores, who will basically dedicate space to Apple within their stores. Training of employees and décor of the store will be handled by Apple itself.
