Income Tax raid on Ram Charan’s film producer
Income Tax officials have conducted raids on the members related to the ‘Bruce Lee’ film
Hyderabad: According to reports, Income Tax officials have conducted raids on the members related to the ‘Bruce Lee’ film on Thursday evening in Hyderabad. Ram Charan is the lead actor in the film, which is all set to hit the theatres this Friday. The reports reveal that the officials raided the offices of producer DVV Danayya, director Srinu Vaitla, music director SS Thaman and also few other people. The officials are also conducting raids on popular producer Dil Raju, who actually brought the Nizag rights of ‘Bruce Lee’.
It comes out as a surprise to everyone that these raids were conducted just one day prior to the film's release. It is rumoured that the pre-release business of the film has done some good business. The film’s budget is nearly Rs 60 crore. Interestingly, producer Dil Raju brought the Nizam rights for many big films that include the ‘Baahubali’ and the recently released ‘Rudhramadevi’. Apart from his regular films, both these films have done roaring business on this particular area.
Recently, many film celebrities became a topic of news due to Income Tax raids. Few days ago, in Tamil Nadu, the I-T officials raided ‘Puli’s team, which includes top star Vijay and the film’s producer. The raid took place just one day before the film's release. The officials also raided actresses like Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nayanthara houses and offices too. Because of these raids, ‘Puli’ film's release delayed, and in Telugu, the film released only after two days and that affected the revenue. Talking about Telugu film ‘Bruce Lee’, the film may not face the same fate as it has already cleared all the finances and will hit the screens as per the schedule.
