TD leaders in Visakhapatnam Agency resign
Naidu had announced that the government will allow bauxite mining

Visakhapatnam: The TD leaders belonging to various party committees, of Vizag Agency, decided to resign from all the party posts protesting the government’s attitude towards freeing TD leaders from Maoists abduction.
Party leaders belonging to Paderu and G madigula Agency mandals market committee members held a meeting in Paderu on the latest developments on Wednesday and announced their resignations. They are also unhappy, over, police resorting to combing operations which they say would threaten the lives of the leaders who are in the Maoists custody.
Already, former minister, M Mani Kumari resigned from the party post of tri member committee coordinator of Paderu constituency last month.
Until a year ago, it was Congress local public representatives like MPPs, sarpanchs, lived in fear in certain tracts of Vizag Agency with the threats by Maoists, due to the earlier government’s decision to mine bauxite by APMDC. Congress government also signed MoUs with Jindal South West (JSW) and Anrak to supply the mined bauxite ore.
Now, it’s the turn of TD men, who are spending some tense moments ever since Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, had announced that the government will allow bauxite mining.
