Anushka is all set to enrol herself in a weight loss programme

If the industry grapevine is anything to go by, actress Anushka Shetty, who’s awaiting the release of Rudramadevi, is all set to enrol herself in a weight loss programme. We all know that Anushka had to gain 20 kilos for her bilingual Size Zero where she plays an obese girl and this weight loss programme is to suit her role for Baahubali: The Conclusion. Sources close to the actress say that she has to shed a few kilos before she joins the sets of Baahubali 2 and will be undergoing a weight loss therapy in the US.
We hear that the actress was supposed to go to the US early this month, but couldn’t because she was held up with Rudramadevi promotions. Recently, SS Rajamouli, is said to have started his work on the second instalment of the Baahubali franchise and Anushka, besides the other leading actors, are expected to join the sets from next month onwards.
Sources add that Rajamouli met his technical crew recently and discussed about the sets for the regular shoot, which will be happening from the next week.
“Since Anushka has an important role in Baahubali 2, she’s focused on losing the extra weight she had gained as soon as possible. Going by the level of dedication that Anushka has, she will get back to the shape very soon, despite the very little time she was given,” the sources tell us. Nearly more than 25 per cent of Baahubali: The Conclusion has already been completed and the makers plan to shoot the remaining portion over the period of the next six months.
