Hyderabad: Two women who were allegedly harassed by a private financier lodged a complaint with the police on Thursday. The financier who lent money to the victims started harassing them when they failed to return the amount in time.

The financier, Sangaraju Chandraraju, lent Rs one lakh to one of the women nearly a year ago. They wrote an agreement and handed him blank cheques as surety for the amount they took from him. They paid nearly Rs 1.5 lakh along with interest for the loan. But when they asked him for the agreement copy and the blank cheques, he refused to give it to them. When they requested him continuously he started to harass them sexually. He asked them to pay more money to get the papers.
