Ranbir Kapoor will join the Tamasha in November

Currently, it’s Deepika Padukone who is holding fort along with director Imtiaz Ali to promote their next release Tamasha. But we hear, lead actor Ranbir Kapoor will soon be joining them back in the city, if things go according to plan. Right now, he is away shooting for Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which is a long schedule.

A source close to Tamasha said, “Ranbir’s dates for Karan’s film shoot and Imtiaz’s film promotion were planned much in advance. It was clear that the promotion of Tamasha will go ahead keeping in mind Ranbir’s dates. He has got a window in the month of November to return to Mumbai. Karan has given a go-ahead to that.”

Until now, the promotions of Tamasha have been lukewarm and Ranbir’s return is expected to turn up the heat. However, the song Matargashti that features him and Deepika is already a chartbuster, which the makers see as a good sign. So what plans do they have once Ranbir comes back? The source replied, “Deepika is more or less done with the shoot of Bajirao Mastani, so her dates, too, are sorted now. When we get to know Ranbir’s exact dates in November, a few city tours will be planned. He will be here for at least three weeks before he resumes the shoot of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.”
