Is salman making a sly move?
Salman wants the Rocky star to play his coach in the sports themed film
Salman Khan, who is a big fan of legendary Hollywood action star Sylvester Stallone, is reportedly in talks of getting him to star in his upcoming film Sultan.
According to reports, Salman “wants the Hollywood actor to do a role”, which has prompted the bosses at Yash Raj Films to get Sly on board. It is further known that Sylvester will only sign the film if he is sure “that his role in the film makes sense” and does not reduce him to a “decorative prop”. The actor had previously done a cameo in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakkht Ishq where he was shown rescuing Kareena Kapoor Khan from a bunch of goons in an alley.
Salman, who will be playing an Indian wrestler in this flick, wants the Rocky star to play his coach in the sports themed film. We hear that Sly will essay the character of a veteran wrestler who helps bring Salman’s character Sultan back into the ring after a brief pause.
If the deal comes through, Sylvester will be the second Hollywood star to sign on an Indian movie this month. His The Expendables co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger recently signed Robot 2 where he will star opposite south superstar Rajinikanth.
Meanwhile, Salman already seems to be proactively spreading the good word about Sylvester’s other project. He recently promoted Stallone’s upcoming boxing flick Creed on Twitter. Posting a YouTube link of the film’s trailer, Salman tweeted: Creed Releasing on 25th Nov @TheSlystallone Looks Amazing as always.
