Anil Ambani met Kiran Kumar Reddy to revive project
TS government has decided to take a final view on all projects
Hyderabad: Though ADAG chairman Anil Ambani met former chief minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy in December 2010 and TS Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao in July 2014 seeking time to revive the 100-storey tower project, no pro-gress was made so far.
The TS government has decided to take a final view on all projects in the public private partnership mode that got stuck in controversies like Emmaar Properties and the Jubilee Hills Landmark Project and has asked the committee to recommend a “course of action to be taken by the state”.
The orders issued by industries secretary Arvind Kumar on October 15, asked the committee for “detailed examination of Emaar issue in consultation with the AG and to come up with various alternatives on this issue”.
Besides, it was asked to look into “restructuring, if any, of the PPP project by Reliance ADAG Group in Trade Tower.
