Chandrababu Naidu to invite K Chandrasekhar Rao for Amaravati fete
However, speculations were rife that KCR may not visit Amaravati
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will meet his TS counterpart K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday to extend invitation for the foundation stone laying ceremony of AP’s capital Amaravati on October 22.
Mr Naidu will visit the TS CM’s camp office at around 6 pm on Sunday. Sources said the AP CMO officials contacted TS CMO officials on Saturday and sought an appointment for Mr Naidu with Mr Rao on Sunday.
TS CMO officials informed Mr Rao about this who reportedly told them that he would be available at his camp office from 5 pm on Sunday and fix the appointment at 6 pm. This was conveyed to AP CMO, which is making arrangements for the visit.

It may be recalled that Mr Naidu had said after AP Cabinet meeting in Vijayawada on October 10 that he would invite Mr Rao personally for Amaravati ceremony.
Mr Naidu will also extend an invitation to Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Sunday. However, speculations were rife that Mr Rao may not visit Amaravati as he has planned several programmes on Dasara on October 22 and that he may send IT minister K.T. Rama Rao on his behalf.
