OnePlus 2 gets extended warranty in India
The B2X Service plan is priced at Rs. 999 is available on Amazon India’s website
Mumbai: Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is offering extended warranties for their flagship smartphone OnePlus 2 under two new plans—The B2X Service and B2X Protect.
The B2X Service plan is priced at Rs. 999 on Amazon India’s website and the higher priced B2X Protect plan, which is currently listed 'unavailable' on the website, will be back in a few days.
The B2X Service plan
The B2X Service plan for the OnePlus 2 extends the standard one warranty provided by the manufacturer by a year. This plan covers all manufacturing defects that causes the device to malfunction and will be fixed by OnePlus free of cost.
Also, customers should be extremely careful that they purchase this warranty under 30 days from purchasing the handset and get it registered within seven days. Failing to meet the terms will make the warranty plan invalid.
Users who feel that they want a better warranty plan can opt for the B2X Protect Service, which will covers all accidental, physical and even liquid damages for a period of twelve months from purchasing the device.
Interestingly Amazon's listing indicates that the B2X Protect plan will also cover “ acts of god perils and damages caused due to riots”. The B2X protect plan is priced slightly higher at Rs 1,299.
The B2X Protect plan
However, after purchasing the handset, users will get only 10 days to buy the B2X Protect warranty plan and have to get it registered in the next seven days.
Apart from offering the two warranty plans, B2X is also the authorized service partner for OnePlus products in India and will assist all OnePlus users with device related issues.
