Pinning all hopes on Paththu Enrathukulla, which hits the screens today, Vikram believes the movie will be another special film in his career. The actor says that the film directed by Vijay Milton has him playing a character which he has never attempted before.

He says, “It is a road film and I play a different character that I haven’t essayed before. I am quite excited. I play the role of a car driver. It is a low-key character — but a stylish one. I play Edison, a guy who is very sharp, smart and easy-going. He meets a naive girl who creates trouble wherever she goes. The movie shows what happens between them as they travel together. I think it is going to be a pleasant surprise for the audience. I know that they will enjoy the film in theatres. Recently, in Tamil, people are looking for something different and fresh and I feel that this will be what they are yearning for.”

The Pithamagan star says that he takes up aproject only when he feels charged after listening to the script. Vikram also adds that he is listening to scripts in Malayalam as well. “I am waiting for the right script. Discussions are going on and I have told a couple of directors that I liked the script. It will happen very soon,” says Vikram, who started his career in Mollywood.
