The hashtag #ManaAmaravatiManaRajadhani widely promoted in social media
Vijayawada: Even before it is born, Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh has started to trend on social media giant Facebook. Amaravati has started trending at the top on Facebook from Wednesday morning with netizens sharing hashtags related to Amaravati capital foundation stone laying ceremony.
Among the trending hashtags are #ManaAmaravatiManaRajadhani which is being promoted by supporters of the capital city starting from Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu to many youngsters.
Selfies, slogans and paintings of netizens are also being shared on Facebook and Twitter. A Facebook user, Nagendra Kumar Devineni, donated blood to save a life on the eve of the stone laying ceremony. “Today donated blood to save a life on the eve of building up our dream capital Amaravati,” Nagendra posted along with a picture of him donating blood.
“Reached Vijayawada on cycle with Dad. Happiness all set for Amaravati Shankhusthapana,” posted Hyderabad’s mountaineer Neelima Pudota who is part of Capital Ride by techies from Hyderabad.
Former cricketer Madhukar Nekkanta in his post says, “I totally support our new capital of Andhra Pradesh Amaravati. I also pledged my own lands to the government of Andhra Pradesh.”
All the TD leaders and supporters too posted selfies on social media publicizing the hashtag #manaamaravatimanarajadhani. l Amaravati started trending at the top on Facebook from Wednesday morning onwards.
Naidu’s family joins online promotion
Promoting the hashtag #ManaAmaravatiManaRajadhani TD general secretary N. Lokesh kick started a storm on social media followed by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Netizens later followed the hashtag and started posting selfies.
On Wednesday, Mr Naidu’s family including his grandson Devaansh joined the netizens by posting their selfies. Naidu’s daughter-in-law and Lokesh’s wife Ms Brahmani and Naidu’s wife Ms Buvaneswari too posted their selfies. l Selfies of Naidu family were posted on social media.
