Not liable for action, say EFLU students

Hyderabad: Responding to the show-cause notices issued to them by the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), students have said that they are “not liable to any disciplinary action as the protests were peaceful”.

EFLU administration had issued notices to 12 students for causing? unrest? in college on October 15 when they had held protests demanding that the student elections be conducted.

In its show-cause notice, the foreign language university had asked as to why disciplinary actions should not be initiated against the students for “incitement,” and for “disturbing atmosphere.”

All 12 students have submitted their replies to the administration and are awaiting replies.
