Telangana govt to extend all support for Amaravati development: KCR

Uddandarayuni Palem, Thulluru: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao promised all support from his government to the development of Andhra Pradesh capital Amaravati.

He also greeted the people of Andhra Pradesh on behalf of Telangana on Dasara. Mr Rao said that it is a great moment to have foundation stone laid by the hands of Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi on the auspicious day.

KCR led a six-member delegation comprising Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Mahamood Ali, finance minister Etala Rajender and energy minister A. Jagdish Reddy, besides three officials, including intelligence chief Shivdhar Reddy.

The Telangana CM was accorded VVIP reception by AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu with welcome arches and flexis at many places en route to the venue.

Earlier, KCR’s decision to attend Amaravati function at the personal invitation of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu generated lot of excitement and debate in political circles, including his own party TRS.
