Blackberry Priv briefly shows up on Blackberry’s official online store; price and other specifications leaked

Mumbai: Pricing, specifications and shipping details of Blackberry’s upcoming Android-based smartphone—the Blackberry Priv—was accidentally revealed on the company’s official website for a shot time before it was taken off.
According to the listing in the official website, the unlocked version of the Blackberry slider smartphone will cost approximately USD750 in the US and around CAD950 in Canada. Additionally, Indian import and export database, Zauba also estimated that the Priv will cost roughly around Rs 50,000 in India.
Before being taken down, the listing indicated that the device will be shipped starting November 16 and recent reports have also cited that the device will be officially up for pre-orders starting Friday.
The listing also revealed some of the phone’s specifications: the Priv will have a 5.4-inch QHD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core SoC combined with 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage (expandable).
As far as camera specifications are concerned, Blackberry Priv sports an 18MP sensor and 2MP front shooter. According to the listing, the Priv will have 3410mAh battery, which is enough to last a day under moderate usage.
The Blackberry Priv is the company's attempt to climb their way back on top and compete with market leaders like Apple, Samsung, and other Android-based smartphones.
