Mumbai: A 16-year-old from girl from Jogeshwari in Mumbai has alleged that she was gang-raped by three men, three times over the past twenty days after her drink was spiked.

According to a report in Indian Express, the girl complained that she was waiting for an auto-rickshaw to go to her college, when Salman Khan, 22, approached her on a bike and snatched away her cell phone. He used her phone to give a missed call to his, and also sought her name, which she refused to divulge. She snatched her phone back and soon after, he left.

She began receiving phone calls from Salman, asking her to meet him. She even got a call from his sister, after which she relented and went out with him a month ago. He offered her juice, on drinking which she felt giddy, and was taken by Salman to a nearby hotel at Aksa Beach. There, she was made to drink liquor after which he forced himself on her.

The report also said that two other men joined them in the room later, and raped her. This was repeated over the next two days, and when she resisted, Salman threatened to kill her father.  "While dropping me home that night, Salman gave me some pills and told me to consume them. He also told me that he would be picking me up the next day, and that I should bring some of the gold jewellery from my house with me,” the victim told the police.

But next day, she complained of acute stomach ache. When her mother enquired she related the incident to her, after which she was taken to the local police station to file a complaint.

A case has been booked and Salman has been arrested, said police sources, adding that they are on the lookout for others involved.
