Bengaluru: A teenager from Myanmar was allegedly bludgeoned to death by his friends over a financial row in Bellalli in Kothanur police station limits on Thursday night.

The deceased has been identified as Abdul Khader (18). Police said that Khader along with his family had come to the city in search of job about one and a half months ago.

They were staying in temporary sheds in a land belonging to Isoob Khan and were rag pickers. “On Thursday night around 10 pm, there was an altercation between Khader and three others - Haroon, Jainab and Rizwan.

Haroon along with his friends took a wooden stick and assaulted Khader. Though Khader’s father Mohammed Farooq shifted him to hospital, he succumbed to his injuries,” the police said. The Kothanur police have registered a case and are on the lookout for Haroon, Jainab and Rizwan, who are absconding.
