LDF rules out trucks with Muslim League

Kottayam: LDF convenor Vaikom Viswan on Saturday ruled  out any truck  with the Indian Union Muslim League and said that  in the current scenario,   a tie-up with it could not even be discussed.

Maintaining that the SNDP -BJP alliance will not affect the LDF prospects in the local body elections,  he said that  the SNDP Yogam  would not  get along with the BJP as the  ideals of Sree Narayana Guru were different from that of the  BJP.

The CPM had carried further the ideals propounded by  Guru, he said and  welcomed the NSS stand not to be part of the broader Hindu unity.
