SI S Jagadish’s killing: Accused taken to Mantralaya
The police said that as the accused had gone to Mantralaya after the murder
Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Rural police investigating the murder case of SI S. Jagadish took the accused, Harish Babu and Madhu, to Mantralaya in Andhra Pradesh as part of the probe on Sunday.
The police said that as the accused had gone to Mantralaya after the murder and hence they were taken there as part of the investigation. “They were staying in a lodge in Mantralaya, where they were taken on Sunday. The lodge employees were also questioned and their statements were recorded. They will be considered as witnesses in the case,” the police said.
Accused Harish Babu had also tonsured his head in Mantralaya to conceal his identity as his photograph was aired in TV channels and published in newspapers, the police added.
