Javed to pen script for Farhan, again

Javed Akhtar, we hear, is writing a script for Farhan Akhtar that the latter is keen to direct. The lyricist and writer has earlier written the scripts for Lakshya and Don, which were directed by Farhan.

Says a source, “Javed saab has been working on many ideas, but his role as an MP keeps him occupied. So he is not able to dedicate himself entirely to writing these days. There is this one idea, however, that he is keen to turn into a film, but it will take some time for him to be ready with the final draft.”

If all goes well, Hrithik Roshan will be the male protagonist of this film since Farhan and Hrithik have worked together in the past and share a good work rapport. Farhan, who is currently shooting for Rock On 2, is keen to return to direction after wrapping up the film. When contacted, Javed Akhtar said, “Nothing is finalised at the moment, so my comment will be premature.”
