Kiccha Sudeep

With Kiccha Sudeep returning to host the third season of the superhit reality show — Bigg Boss in Kannada, which kick-started this Sunday, the versatile actor recently admitted that there have been accusations of bias with regard to the ultimate winner of the show. Clearing the air, Sudeep revealed that he too at times was emotional during the eviction of eligible contestants, but their fate rests solely with the impartial voting system. “I have even cried when someone deserving loses. We stress a lot on the votes, but it is the viewers who actually decide. I am not the judge here. Infact, when the reality show was in the initial stages, I was sceptical. However, a lot of effort went into it and the show became a huge hit. Even to become a contestant, it takes a lot of sacrifice,” Sudeep explained. The actor is also relieved that the location has been exclusively shifted from Pune to Namma Bengaluru.

As he has been working round the clock during the past season, and is also shooting for multiple projects, he added, “I can get some sleep now as the location has been shifted to Innovative Film City near Bidadi.” The programme head for Colours Kannada Parameshwar Gundkal, expressed that they aim to make it an emotional Bigg Boss, rather than the usual controversial one this time, and also to imbibe Kannada and local cultures into it. With Huccha Venkat being one of the 15 contestants, the show has already raised expectations and controversy! Actress Shruthi, Pooja Gandhi, Chandan, Master Anand, RJ Nethra, cricketer Ayyappa are among the prominent  contestants this time.
