Kanche for festivals and tax exemption

The Varun Tej starrer Kanche is all set to do the festival circuit. The Krish Jagarlamudi film, with a WWII background, is going strong at the box office and has also generated good revenues overseas. When asked about sending the film to festivals, Krish says, “I am very excited about the rewards (money) right now. Will definitely think about taking it to the festivals and awards.”

 

People have also advised him to approach the government for tax exemption. “The film deals with the caste system and racism, which is a burning issue. So the director is planning to approach the government for a tax exemption,” says a close source from the unit.
