Venky’s cameo as Chaitanya’s uncle

Venkatesh will be doing a cameo in Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film, which is a remake of the Malayalam film Premam. Shooting will start in Vizag in the second week of November. “Venkatesh is playing Naga Chaitanya’s uncle and he appears in only one scene,” says a source. In real life, Venkatesh is Chaitanya’s mamayya (mother’s brother) and this makes the scene more interesting.

When the makers approached Venkatesh for the scene, he immediately said yes. The source also reveals that Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna will also appear in a small role in the film.

“Nagarjuna’s role is not yet decided, but he will be there in the film. There are three female leads, two of whom  — Shruti Haasan and Anupama Parameswaran — have been confirmed,” adds the source.
